In version 1.3 exectuables are added for Solaris 10/X64 and Linux/X86 and a new addition is Open Boot PROM (OBP) source code. The OpenBoot Source distribution contains source code to Sun's OpenBoot PROM firmware. This OpenBoot PROM distribution is comprised of all the  current Sun OpenBoot sources needed to build a working Sun Fire T2000 Openboot binary for use inside of the Legion Simulation environment.

For the first time in history, developers gain access to the chip multi-threading (CMT) technology unique to the UltraSPARC T1 processor, which is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). This new open source version of the UltraSPARC T1 design is called "OpenSPARC T1" and is a 64 bit, 32 threaded processor design available at no charge.
