Java Enterprise Edition 5 application server, will be available on Ubuntu
In the throes of a budding relationship with Canonical Ltd,
Sun says Glassfish, the open source Java Enterprise Edition 5 application
server, will be available on Ubuntu, the species of Linux Canonical is
commercializing. Glassfish is currently governed by Sun's CDDL license. Ubuntu,
which is being certified on Sun's Opteron boxes and is already certified on its
Niagara boxes, currently doesn't have a Java
app server.
