FishTail Design Automation, founded in 2002, offers a unique approach to improving the chip design process for both FPGAs and ASICs by automatically generating golden timing constraints early in the design cycle. For the first time, designers have detailed, accurate constraint information to drive downstream tools such as virtual prototyping, synthesis and place & route. The result is lower cost, lower power chips in less design time and with less risk. FishTail Design Automation is a privately-funded corporation based in Portland, Oregon.
