On The Record: Break-through performance in a "CoolThreads" blade

The Sun Blade 6000 modular system, configured with 10 Sun Blade T6300 server modules (10 chips total), just delivered the highest ever result of 8253.21 SPECjAppServer2004 JOPS@Standard on the industry-standard SPECjAppServer2004 benchmark. SPECjAppServer2004 (Java Application Server) is a multi-tier benchmark for measuring the performance of Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology-based application servers.
