It has been a hectic but fun filled week. First two days of skiing in Mammoth Mountain with the kids to celebrate their semester break. Then two more days in San Francisco for Sun's annual
analyst conference with some pretty good reaction from the press on new products discussed like our
multi socket Niagara servers. Talking to analysts is fun, talking to customers is even more fun. This week also marked Sun's annual Worldwide Education and Research Conference
where I met with a number of our top education and research customers
and discussing what they can actually do with all Sun's new technology.
Finally, today I'm driving across San Diego for a number of meetings
with John Fowler, including the San Diego Supercomputer Center. For
those who follow supercomputing technology, Israel's Mellanox, a vendor
of InfiniBand technology, saw their stock rise 23% after their U.S. market debut.
